The sensor contains a Silicon photodetector. When there's light in, the sensor generates a voltage signal that is directly proportional to the PAR under the light source. You are able to obtain the measurement value in a unit of µmol/m2•s. The instrument supports the MODBUS-RTU RS485 protocol. You can therefore directly connect this PAR sensor with RS485 data loggers or digital voltmeters to create monitoring systems that meet your own demand.
